The Movies Ninjas Overall Score is /10

There are very few things you wouldn’t find enjoyable in any martial arts Ninja movie. The excitement, thrill and dynamism displayed in these awesome movies are breathtaking. Fight scenes included in these ninja movies are capable of keeping us on the edge until the end of the movie. Apart from the awesome fight scenes, most of the ninja movies are rich in spiritual lines and quotes which are so catchy. Below are the best martial arts ninja movies we think you should watch.

  1. Ninja in the Dragon’s Den

This is a breathtaking Hong Kong martial arts movie that tells an interesting story about two rival warriors (a Japanese and a Chinese worrier) who had to work together by-force upon the murder of their master. This was written, directed and choreographed by Corey Yuen. Interestingly, this was his debut work as a director. Conan Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada and Hwang Jang Lee do a wonderful job in terms of starring.

  1. Ninja Assassin

Screened in 2009, Ninja Assassin is an American German movie that gained a huge popularity. It was directed by James McTeigue and the story was written by Matthew Sand.  J. Michael Straczynski did the screen play. Rain, the South Korean pop musician, stars as the assassin who wants the renege from his former master (legendary Sho Kosugi).  Apart from being a wonderful martial arts movie, Ninja Assassin explores sensitive social issues such as corrupted politics and violence.

  1. Revenge of the Ninja

This is another master class performance by Sho Kosugi as a Ninja. Many people consider this movie to be a part of the Ninja trilogy that started with Enter the Ninja. However, the stories of these movies are not directly related to each other. Final battle of this movie displays a fight of good vs. evil.

  1. Ninja

Categorized as a martial arts/action/thriller movie, Ninja was directed by Isaac Florentine. Scott Adkins, Tsuyoshi Ihara and Mika Hijii display awesome skills for the smooth flow of the movie. Ninja has an interesting story in it; in which Casey Bowman (an American martial artist) travels to NYC as per the instructions of his sensei to protect a set of weapons of the Last Kōga ninja.

  1. American Ninja

Although it was filmed in 1985, this particular Ninja Action movie still has the hearts of Ninja movie enthusiasts. This was produced by Cannon films and directed by Sam Firstenberg.  Michael Dudikoff stars the main role of the movie while Steve James assists him perfectly. It gained an enormous popularity and responsible for a domestic box office record too.

  1. Ninja: Shadow of a Tear (Ninja II)

Yet another masterpiece directed by Isaac Florentine. This is considered to be the second movie of the Ninja trilogy. Scott Adkins plays the role of the main character with the help of Kane Kosugi, Mika Hijii and Shun Sugata. The movie was shot in Thailand (Bangkok) and released in 2013.

These six movies are good enough to convert any movie lover into a Ninja-Movie-enthusiast, thanks to the plot, wonderful fights, superb acting and morals featured.
